The ferry fleet doubles for 2027
Four vessels, every fifteen minutes, from 2pm until 7am. The ride is part of the festival now.
Twice the boats
After 2026's 40-minute Sunday-morning ferry queue became our most repeated complaint, the 2027 plan doubles the fleet to four vessels on a fifteen-minute headway. Wave Pass and Chrome VIP keep their priority lane, and the standard lane moves fast enough that the lane distinction stops mattering.
The ride
Twelve minutes across the bay with the skyline on one side and the festival lights waking up on the other. Crews hand out water and the schedule card on board. The lower deck of every vessel is wheelchair accessible, and the 6am sailings run quieter for the sunrise crowd.
One less car
There is no parking on the island, by design. Ferry, transit and the staffed ride-share lot move everyone; that is how a shoreline stays a shoreline.
